I made it to the next round of Sock Madness, and I have decided that they picked the right name for it, as I seem to be infected with some sort of madness every time we are given a new pattern.
I would never call myself competitive, but every time we do another round it's like I go nuts and have to knit & knit until I finish.
I thought Tasha would beat me in round 2, but I got through in the end.
Then I got paired with Debbie in round 3 and I was convinced that she would beat me hands down.
I didn't go nuts until the last day this time, but then I was up until 3 am!
I told you NUTS!
The worst thing is that I feel so guilty when I'm the one that gets through.
So I felt much better when I read that Debbie won a prize today (Yeah, Debbie!!)
The pattern in the last round was not something I would normally pick for myself but I have to say I'm loving them now I've made them.
I told you that I had been playing around with beads and wire in my last post.Well I finally manage to take a photo this afternoon of the stitch makers I made, what do you think?I'm trying to decide if they are good enough to sell on Etsy to supplement my stash, but I am so critical of anything that I make and Hubby and Jack so nice that I can't seem to decided.
I would appreciate any comments on the subject.
Well I had better get back to the Softies I'm making for my God-Daughter and my other friends twin girls.
I'll show you them and the one I did for Jack once they are all finished.

Gorgeous stitch markers. I really must try to make some, although they are unlikely to match yours. I know exactly what you mean about the sock madness - it has totally taken me over too. Have you seen the specs for the next round? They're up. It will be Saturday afternoon for us, for sure, which gives the US a bit of a head start that night - but then, we'll be up early Sunday, won't we?
Those are nice! And congrats on making the next round. (I lost to Debbie in round 2!)
One comment on the stitch markers, I might be concerned that the ones with the seed beads on rings might catch on yarn in some way. Have you tested them yet?
Good luck in round 4!!!!!!
Thanks Cindy.
Tested them this morning on 5mm needles with Lornas Laces Worsted & had no problem but I will do a couple more tries just to be sure, thanks.
I'm so glad your carrying on in the competition! HOORAY! You should definitely sell those markers. They are lovely. :)
Very pretty! I especially like the hearts and stars.
I think they are very Etsy-worthy!
